The 6th PLATE Conference invites extended abstracts submissions to thematic sessions or open call. The PLATE conference is a platform that brings together academics, industry professionals, civil society representatives, and policymakers to explore and advance discussions on Product Lifetimes and the Environment.
Thematic sessions:
- Design for longer lasting products and building
- Enduring consumption
- Business models for longevity
- Repair, care and maintenance
- Product lifetime modelling
- Policies for longer lifetimes
- Sufficiency and design for less
- Rebound effects of durable products
- Education and tools for product lifetimes
- Materials and longevity
- Clothing and accessories longevity
- Digital longevity
- Other PLATE related subjects
Abstracts should have up to 1000 words plus references and must be anonymous. Please avoid any affiliations. After a double-blind peer-review process, the successful abstracts will be further developed and submitted either as extended abstracts or as full papers.
The abstract submission system will be open from September 2024 and abstracts must be submitted by 29 November 2024.
